28th December 2008

I would have said this earlier but haven't been on the computer for about a week, so...

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Hope you all had a good time. I wasn't really feeling it this year but it turned out to be a nice day, not very exciting - but good all the same. I got what I asked for plus other little random stuffs. I would have asked for a puppy, kitten, PS3 or X360, but didn't see the point - the chances of me ever getting any of those things any time soon are pretty slim. (Although if there's nothing else to get for my birthday I might go halves on a cheapo 360 with Craig... I dunno.)

I actually think I enjoyed giving presents out as much as I enjoyed recieving them this year :)

I completed 'Professor Layton and the Curious Village' before. Yay! Yes, I did have to cheat here and there because some of the puzzles were really hard! (or at least appeared to be really hard, when actually they were ridiculously easy.... I'm looking at you 'Too Many Mice' -_-).
So, what should I play next?

I better go, been on here a while now. All the best for the new year!

I feel so nervous for my Secret Santa. I bought my prezzie today, but I'm afraid they'll think it's too silly :S Or not silly enough! :S

:S :S :S

It was harder than I thought, hombre! <:(

I wonder what I'll be given...

7th December 2008

100TH POST!! *FANFARE*

Anywho, whatsa been a-happenin' lately? Had a nice chilled out weekend compared to last week's major stress-fest, picked our secret Santa's (I hope no one gets me bath stuff!!), started reading Twilight, erm... and I think that's it.

I got persuaded into joining Swagbucks.com. It's just like google but you can win these swagbuck things that let you win prizes. I've got a feeling that there's gonna be a catch somewhere along the line, but Carina sent away for an Avenged Sevenfold print and got it, so I though I may as well have a go.
If you wanna have a go use this link > http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register&rb=253084 < and any swag bucks you win, I shall also win! Mwaha!
I currently have 9. Only 4491 more to collect till I can get my hands on that PS3...

Got yet more art homework to do :(. I better start that soon actually, otherwise I'll get myself into a pickle.

I started playing Viva Pinata on my DS. Soooooooo addictive, man! Curse that Dastardos (or whatever his name is) for smashing open my sick pinatas *sob*.

Yet another English mock exam tomorrow. I can't wait. -_-

I wonder what I shall buy for my secret Santa, hmmm. I'll have to have a think.

As Becky had a habit of saying a while ago - Au revoir, baby!

Nothing to report, except another funny little thing I've come across on DevArt:

"Why do slim chance and fat chance mean the same thing?"

Heh.

25th October 2008

Had a good week this week. Don't want to go back to school on Monday :(

I'm listening to 'Radio 1 Live Lounge Vol 3' right now. Downloaded it because it looked kinda interesting with all the different covers on it. Pendulum's version of 'Violet Hill' was cool XD I'm currently listening to The Feeling's version of Kelly Rowland's 'Work' now. Haha, it's... unusual! But not as bad as you'd think actually!

I've found someone to go to see Rise Against with!! Actually, it's (I think) 2 people. I was asking around and Becky said she would go but seeing as how I don't think she actually knows who they are, I don't know if she will XD My mum's mate's daughter Jenny said she'd go with me too and I think she's been to the Carling Academy before so I won't feel so "I have no idea where I'm going! Ahhhh!" But anyway, gotta check whether Becky'll actually go before we can book tickets :( It better not sell out this week or something ridiculous. I doubt that would really happen, but it's the kind of typical thing that will probably happen!

Anyone know of any proper amazing "WHOOOOOOOOOA" DS games? I need one to sink my teeth into that I won't get bored with.

I had the need to play Jak II the other day but I don't have it so I was sad.

Toodles.

16th October 2008

I finished The Crossing of Ingo (the final book in a series by Helen Dunmore) yesterday. Now I'm all sad. I need moar! I'm gonna miss Faro & all the rest of them :(

I have to write an essay over half term. Oh happy days. Damn you English, damn you!

We went to see a french film today at Cineworld. It was called Tell No One. It was like a thriller-murder mystery-getting chased by the cops-kinda movie. Pretty alright actually.
And it would have been even better if we actually knew what was going on! The flippin' coach turned up late so we missed the first half hour/hour. Honestly.

I have a sudden urge to say, "My boy Salazar." Forgive me.

17th September 2008

I can't believe I stayed in school finishing my final piece for art till 4:30. That an extra hour and a half X_X

I didn't feel that bad at the time, but now the tiredness has just hit me like a brick wall. And I lost an hour & a half of my free time :(

Anyway, gotta go eat some hotdogs.

Adios.

9th September 2008

Even though the world may implode in the next month due to the big bang experiment, I feel heaps better than I did on my last post! Hooray!

I've gotta be really quick because we're going to see the lambanana army in town for 5pm, but just thought I'd have one last post in case it all ends tomorrow XD

We saw La Machine at the weekend. One of the most amazing things I have EVER seen. It was proper towering over us at one point and I got all choked up during the finale I found it so amazing! XD Seriously, I'll cry at anything. I'll post a picture next time (if there is a next time :P), but pictures do not do it justice!

Anyway, gotta go get changed UBERquick.

GOODBYE WORLD!

2nd September 2008

I feel really down right now.

For numerous reasons: I was actually meant to go back to school today but didn't because I had a migraine early this morning. And it was really weird because I woke up and felt sick so went the bathroom and my vision practically went, I had ringing in my ears, broke out into a sweat, felt dizzy and I kinda collapsed on the toilet (the lid was down XD) where I sat and waited for it to pass. But it was so scary because I didn't really know what was happening. Anyway, I think I must have passed out or fell asleep or something because I opened my eyes some time later and my hearing was fine again, but I had that little tell-tale squiggle in my vision that told me it was a migraine. To tell the truth I was slightly relieved because the whole going nearly blind/ringing ears thing scared me.
So I staggered into my parents room, told them, and my dad went to sleep in my bed so I could sleep in the same room as my mum. Then all the other migraine crap came - the banging headache, nausea, etc.
I'm okay now but I still feel sick and I sneezed before and (because I moved my head suddenly) I got an extremely bad pain in my head. Couple feeling sick all day and a sensitive head with feeling drowsy and you can see why I feel bloody awful.

I'll probably be in school tomorrow but something (something not too fantastic) has just recently came to light concerning a close friend which probably won't help things.

I also think TOTM is approaching, so that isn't making things much better.

Sigheth. I hope everything improves by the end of the week.

29th August 2008

I had a proper vivid dream about me and random people I know going to Disneyland last night. I can't be bothered describing the whole thing, but it was mostly set in the jungly/piratey part of the park and one part involved a lot of aligators and another involved being about 3 inches away from the edge of a huge waterfall. It was kinda scary actually.

I Am Legend made me cry the other night. I dunno whether this certain part was in the film or not (because like I said last time, I haven't seen it) but the way it was written was just so heart-breaking. I don't want to include spoilers but lets just say it was the chapter where Robert Neville finds a 'friend', the second to last chapter of Part Two. Sob.

Its my mums birthday today! Happy Birthday Mum!
And it's my sisters 21st tomorrow! Lets hope that DJ turns up :S

25th August 08

Hello! Adferais chan ye olde Cymru!
(Hello! I have returned from ye olde Wales!) I hope that translator was right...

Yes, I have returned from my weeks holiday to Brynteg holiday park in lovely Snowdonia. It may have rained everyday but two, I may have nearly died on Snowdon, I may have had to sleep in the thinnest bed known to man - but it was great! I loved it. I want to go back. Now.

The internet has been dead for a good two or three weeks but it's working at the moment so I'm trying to make the most of it.

I've seen almost all films on the cinema that I wanted to this summer. First it was Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (completely different to the books), then Mamma-Mia! (Pierce Brosnan singing - thats all I have to say) and The Dark Knight (we got sucked in by the hype so were slightly diasappointed, but I can't deny it was still very good, and the Joker was teh awesome.) I also wanted to see Wall-E and The Mummy, but what can ya do.

Craig lent me 'I am Legend' the other day. The book, not the film (which I haven't seen yet). He said it's very short (only about 150 pages long or something) and I think I'm up to chapter 7 right now. Its been really good so far. The bit where he notices his watch has stopped and he's got no time to get back to his house before nightfall (which is when the vampires come out) was very good. I feel really sorry for the guy XD

I can get new earrings this Friday! Woo!

I've nearly finished Phoenix Wright! Woo!

Only one week left till school! Booooo!

21st July 2008

Hey. I don't actually have anything much to say. I'm just so bored.

I went and got my ears pierced on Friday in the end, no big deal. My left ear keeps hurting though, it's annoying.

I watched Batman Begins last night. Pretty cool, although live-action Batman is always going to supply a little chuckle of ridiculousness, no matter how good the film is. I think I might poke someone into taking me to see The Dark Knight now.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. Next Wednesday me & my mateys are gonna go see Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging. I haven't actually seen ANY trailers for it but I've read the book so it should be okies. We'll get in cheaper because of that amazing little thing called Orange Wednesdays and, because I think you're the only one of my friends who reads this Vicki, you know you can come along.

Gotta go to a BBQ Wednesday night at my great aunties. Should be fine, and it'll be nice to see everyone again.

Er. I think I've ran out of things to blab about.

Au revoir.

15th July 2008

Whoaza, I just realised that my counter over there somewhere (-->) says I've had 1004 different people visiting this thing since the end of August last year. That's crazy. And slightly scary.

But anyway, we finish for summer on friday! Boooooooyah!

And I think I'm getting my ears (haha, I almost typed eyes there for some reason) pierced on either Saturday or Monday! I hope I don't chicken out XD

And I completed ICO last week. I loved that last hour or so. LOVED IT. Although that's mostly down to there being hardly any shadow monsters, if any. I hate those things...

Curse you, shadow monsters!!
(lame pic I know. Best I could find XD)

6th July 2008

Survived the Enterprise thingy. We had 2 days to organise 'The Merseyside Olympics'. We didn't win (or even come 2nd or 3rd) but we still won more trophies than anyone else, so it wasn't a complete waste of time/my sanity. We got Best New Sport, Best Volunteer somethingorother and one of the three Most Enterprising Students awards (for Carina).

Moving on, it was my sister's graduation on Thursday. She graduated from Liverpool Uni with a 1st! Woo for her! The ceremony was pretty boring (and the continuous clapping left all our hands tingly afterwards) but the rest of the day went good. We took loads of photies and we went to a Greek restaurant for tea. Mmm, that was some nice foods.

Right, now Saturday. Saturday, Saturday, Saturday... why art thou so cruel?! To start off this 'lovely' day teh P Pain struck with satanic evilness causing me to roll around on the sofa groaning for a couple of hours. But evil was not through with me yet. Oooh no. Y'see, I must have squeezed my hot water bottle so much due to the pain that - guess what? IT BURST! ALL OVER MY LEG! Yeah, so I screamed from the scorching water that had just soaked my leg, causing my dad to run into the room in a mad panic and then he pushed me up the stairs (while I was crying and screaming in pain, from both burning AND P Pain) and stand in the bath while he showered my legs with freezing cold water for a whole 25 minutes to stop the burning. Luckily, the water from the hot water bottle was about half an hour old, so it wasn't as hot as it could have been, so I didn't have to go to A&E (thank the Lord). Anyway, my feet were completely numb from standing in freezing water for half an hour so dad had to help me hobble down the stairs where I then sat in front of a Diagnosis Murder film with wet towels and a packet of frozen mediterranean vegetables on my legs. A while later I was feeling slightly better, but was still extremely freezing, so went and got changed, had my tea, and then watched Doctor Who (which was greatness, may I say) and everything was pretty much okay.

Wasn't one of the best days of my life.

And how am I feeling today? Well, still have some cramps & back pain, and my leg aches and feels bruised instead of feeling burnt (which is weird) but, as Elton John says, I'm still standing.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

24th June 2008

Got to go to some enterprise competition tomorrow with school. It should be okay but I really just can't be bothered with it, to be honest. You've got to stay overnight too :( and a two day challenge doesn't sound like something that will calm the soul. I'm telling ya, this will be me this time tomorrow:
...minus the emo fringe, of course.
The only good thing about it is there's a disco in the night XD But it'll stress me out even more trying to figure out what to wear! >_<

Oh my goosh! I can play Seven Nation Army (I think that's what it's called...) by the White Stripes, the beginning of Beat It by Michael Jackson, the VERY beginning of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, the main part of Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple and Iron Man by Black Sabbath (I think...) on geetar! Go me! Yeah, the only ones I can remember off the top of my head are White Stripes & Smoke on ze Water, but still. I's a-happy.

I think I'm randomly starting to sink into depression for some unknown reason, but I guess I could always watch the Bean, Box & Dude movie thingys (HELL YEAH) or I could just sing Live and Let Die.

When you were young and your heart was an open book,
You used to say live and let liiive,
(Oh no you didn't, no you didn't, no you diiid),
But when this ever changing world in which we live in,
Makes you give it a try...
(Do do do)
SAY LIVE AND LET DIIIE!
DUUUUN DUUUUN! LIVE AND LET DIIIIE! DUUUN DUUUN.
LIVE AND LET DIIIIE! DUUUUN DUUUUN! LIVE AND LET DIIIIE!

*CRAZY DUN UN NUN, DUN UN NUN, DUN NUN PART*

12th June 2008

Had a pretty mixed day today. I've been ridiculously tired all day (darn Apprentice final going on forever last night... but still, yay for Lee!), we did an experiment in science & I got so stressed out for some reason, it was the last day to finish the project in ICT & I got really stressed out yet again, and then this afternoon we had a geography GCSE exam. It was human geography too. Hrrr.

Anyway, I traipsed home and played on Guitar Hero for a bit and (thankfully) that loosened my uptight self up a bit and, apart from obviously still being shattered, I's okay now!

This has got to be the most pointless post ever, but what's a diary for if not rants?

Also: I'm downloading Lego Indy!

9th June 2008

I had an awesome dream the other week. I enjoyed it so much that I scrawled down some notes about it in my notebook so I never forget it. I feel like sharing these notes. Here are these notes.

Best Dream Evar
-People from school in ICT room arguing over who played Harvest Moon first.
-School morphs into youth hostal place that I stayed in with geography.
-Giant storm cloud with mulitple eyes (reminded me of an Okami monster) threatens huge storm.
-Have to evacuate school.
-A room with clones in says we have to be injected with some stuff to reach afterlife because we're gonna all die in the storm.
-I refuse because I think they're changing us into alien slaves (which they are).
-Some cool alien stuff.
-I go wake up Indiana Jones and we save the day.
-Somehow turn up in Zavvi and Carina's there buying a poster or something
-Randomly on a beach where people are throwing Rock Band instruments into the sea and using them as float + stuff.
-Randomly back at my house playing Rock Band and listening to The Tide is High by Blondie.
-And to top it all off I woke up with a Rise Against song in my head.

It was crazy, yes. But I thought it was great XD

Another thing I thought was great (and actually made my brain splode a little from it's greatness) was Lost Season 4 Finale. Oooooooooh yes.

I used to see Lost as a rather ridiculous, too-freakin-confusing programme that I only watched because it was slightly interesting, I'd come so far watching it I wasn't about to stop and I liked a few of the characters. But this season... oh my god. BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD.

Every episode of this series was great but the finale was too awesomely amazing. It was just so entertaining!

List of Amazing Finale Stuff That I Can Think Of Off The Top Of My Head:
-Sayid's fight with Keamy (I have no idea how you spell his name, all I know is I think it's hilarious for some reason)
-Gun battle!!
-Keamy comes back with a vengeance and Ben stabs him up to hell! You had it coming Keamy!!
-Sawyer sacrifices himself by jumping off the helicopter :(
-Jin and Michael go boom *little tear*
-Ben goes & turns that wheel thing in that cold place >_>
-Locke is the new leader of the Others
-Sawyer swims back to the island! Huzzah!
-Island goes 'plop' (hahahaah)
-Desmond & Penny get reunited! Awwh :)
-Miles says something about Charlotte being on the island before
-Kate has a creepy dream with Claire in it (where is Claire anywho? With Jacob?)
-Oceanic 6 wash up on an island and are saved
-(Just heard this name on dev before - it's hilarious XD) 'Matrix!Ben' shows up and tells Druggie Jack they all have to go back to the island... even him... that dude in the coffin next to you...
-...MR JOHN LOCKE!!! DUN DUN DUUUUN.

Two more series to go! That means only two more series to explain about that darn four-toed statue!

Oh my God, I just came across this as someones sig on DevART:

"stressed is desserts spelled backwards, so have a cookie and chill"

I did not know that stressed was desserts backwards!!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!?! >_>

Not quite as cool as racecar spelt backwards = racecar ... but still.

19th May 2008

Hehe, I've got the Media Player on shuffle for every song on my PC right now. I'm currently bopping my head to 'Whitney Housten - How Will I Know' XD AWESOME!

Anywhos, its my parents' Silver Wedding Anniversary today - yep, 25 years! They went to Paris this past weekend and my dad gave my mum a ring on the top of the Eiffel Tower! Awwh, how sweet is that :D We're meant to be going for a meal sometime tonight too.

That reminds me, I'll have to go wash my hair soon, seeing as how a lovely seagull or other flying hell-beast decided to drop one on my head today in the school yard. How lucky am I, eh?

CARRY ON! YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER! CARRY ON! DA DA DA DA DA DA DAAAAAAAA!

...sorry, just got to that bit in the song >_>

9th May 2008

Hey

Slightly random question but anyone know anywhere you might be able to download the music off of The Weakest Link? I need it for school :/

I may finally get to play Phoenix Wright on my DS - huzzah! This download better work, I'm tellin' ya!

New Indiana Jones on 22nd! How shocking!!! :D

In other news: It's the weekend. Squee!

23rd April 2008

Why, hello there peoples of the internets. May I welcome you to my humble abode.

But anyway, I GOT SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT: PLAYING WITH FIRE LAST WEEKEND!! And it's greatness as per usual. I'd quote something that made me laugh out of it, but I can't remember anything right now XD

We had to do Enterprise for enrichment today and, to be honest, I was not looking forward to doing it but it was actually pretty funny. We got split into two groups - Carina, Razel & me and Becky, Viv & Greg' - and the team leaders of the groups had to pick up 3 items from Miss's office and then we had to 'make' a product out of it and do a presentation about it. The presentations were so funny, everyone put on their best 'Salesman' voice and we tried to sell our product. Becky's group were selling a little robot mp3 player that followed a magnetic pen (i think it was magnetic anyway) and we were selling 'Musicup' - a custom made mug gift set with a 10track CD. Hahaha, it was such a lame product but it was the best we could come up with with a mug, a CD and a board rubber (the board rubber posed as marshmallows/hot chocolate sachet).
But yeah, it was hilarious watching their presentation/doing our presentation, and then having the big "Do you have any questions?" battle at the end XD

I better be off ol' chum. My mother and I are taking a visit to the gymnasium this eve and I positively have to get ready now, I do. Tatty-bye.
Walk on Joesphine, walk on. *clop clop clop*

18th April 2008

I learnt how to kind-of do a frontdrop today in trampolining! XD I was pretty scared of trying it but it wasn't that bad in the end. And yeah, I've lost most of the skin on my elbows but I can now do a front drop!

Vicki linked me to Charlie the Unicorn 2 yesterday. Gotta be one of the most random and annoying things ever but it is so, so hilarious =D Jenny & me were quoting it all day, and I sent her the 'Put a Banana In Your Ear' song before XD The best line of that song being, "Put a ripe banana right into your favourite ear." Hahaha...

I think we may be going to town tomorrow (so Vicki if you read this in time & get the urge to come - ya welcome to!) but we're all uberskint (except that Jenny one...) so we're just gonna go on a little, shall-we-say 'Cultural' walk down by the PierHead/Albert Dock XD

I bought ICO last weekend! I've been looking everywhere for it and I just randomly decided to check Zavvi to see if their price for FFXII was lower than Woolies when I found it! Just sitting there minding it's own business on the shelf! I was like, "Gasp!" so I just forgot all about FFXII, grabbed it and made for the till, having a little nosey at the people demoing Mario Kart Wii on the way. And not only did I come out with a game that I thought was near-impossible to find except for £17 or whatever preowned on the internet (I got it £13 NEW) but the dude who served me on the till was really good-looking XD And after I left I got a KitKat Chunky & some Cokie-Cola and chilled out in the sun for a while.
All in all it was a pretty C'est Super day!

So anyway, I played some of it last night and it is pretty impressive. Just the sheer size and detail of the castle is amazing (especially seeing as the game's about 5-6 years old) and it seems like it'll be an interesting little adventure. I'm hoping it's as good an experience as Shadow of the Colossus which was also a very "Whoa! Would you look at that!!" kind of game.

Anyway, I better go. Areeeeba!

8th April 2008

I'm off school today! Oh, sweet blissful happiness!!

Actually, tell a lie, I had to go in this morning for about 10 boring, pointless minutes with my dad (who was making those stupid Nazi jokes of his the whole time XD. Terrible...) for a parents meeting thing. So yeah, apparantly my target is "To ask questions in Science and give the teacher eye contact so I don't daydream and miss a huge chunk of the lesson becasuse he explains things really quickly & just once".

I discovered a cool & handy little website the other day: www.last.fm You can put what looks like any band/artist in the search bar and then you can listen to their songs! Not ALL of the tracks are the full song, but (from what I've seen so far) a lot of them are. It looks like it'll be useful for quickly checking out a band's sound without having to spend time downloading. I'm checking out Rise Against right now, because their song on GH3 was cool XD

Might try & write some Smarman if Mr Inspiration feels like visiting my brain. Or else I'll just play on Harvest Moon & carry on winning over Dark, 'hem, sorry, Skye.

1st April 2008

Haha, after hearing about Rick Rolling for the first time on the local news last night, I found it hilarious to find the following choice of answers on the GameFAQs Poll of the Day...

Teehee!

And if you don't know what Rick Rolling actually is, here's the definition:

When what you think is a link to something you want to see actually directs you to a video of Rick Astley singing "Never Gonna Give You Up."

Genius.

30th March 2008

Over a month since my last post? Yikes.

Only 1 more day of the easter holidays left. Oh, woe is me!

Ohmigosh! In Southport today I saw the new Skulduggery Pleasant book & from the cover alone it looks so cool XD. I really wanted to get it but they only had it in hooge hard-back version, and I wasn't prepared to pay £13 on a book I'll probably only read once. I'll have a little nosey on amazon in a minute to see if any paperbacks are out yet.

I should probably have finished off that chocolate wrapper sketch in my artbook by now, what with school in two days. But then, you know me, I just LOVE leaving everything till last minute -_-

Oh God, I found the most uber-fantastic pairs of tights EVAR the other day. Just take a look at -> these shockers <- ...Yes. I KNOW. But the problem is, what pair would I buy? There's so many awesome ones!! Plus, there's the little issue of them being £13 for a single pair of tights. Just imagine I got a hole in them :O

Toodles.

P.S. Would any kind stranger like to donate £200 to 'The Get Lydia an Xbox360 Fund'? Anyone? Anyone at all...?

16th February 2008

This week seems to have gone by in a hazy blur, I tell you.

It's half term this week so, for my birthday last Monday (I'm a year older! nooo!), I had a sleep over with my friends. Thanks to Becky & Vicki, who suggested not going to bed, I only got about an hours sleep XD We just stayed up pretty much all night playing games, doing hairs and writing stories (thinking back, I really should have put a film on but, no worries - still had fun).

Once everyone was back home on Tuesday, I fell asleep in the car on the way back from Jade's and then collapsed on the sofa when I got in the house. I woke up about 4 hours later to the Relic Hunter theme tune (now THAT'S how you should wake up) before hovering round like one of the undead for the rest of the night.

I stayed in on Wednesday. Had a lie in, *finally* played some Okami, yadda yadda.

On Thursday we went to Ormskirk with Margaret (sp?). Got some of that gorgeous lamb from the butchers (it's heavenly, I swear), had a look round some of the shops & then headed back to Liverpool. Because it was only early we went to Starbucks & got a vanilla latte and then we noticed the Converse were still on sale in Westworld. Seeing as I had some of my birthday money with me, we went in to take a look & I came out with a pair of 'Assymetrical' black converse. They're really freaky 'cause the laces are off-centre but hey - they were only £14, so can't really argue.

Yesterday I went on a coach excursion to Warwick & Stratford-Upon-Avon with my mum, my dad, Margaret & Vicky. It took a hella long time to get there but they were nice towns. We saw Shakespeares house in Stratford but it was really expensive to go in, so we didn't. Haha, in one of the shops we saw a bottle of wine with 32 carat gold flakes in it. It was bizarre! Imagine drinking gold!

That's brings us to today. I am obviously in my house, otherwise I wouldn't be typing this now, and I think I'm just going to have a similar day to Wednesday (and basically do nothing at all).

It's back to school on Monday. Things could get slightly interesting due to the 'information' we got last Monday, or else things could be as crappy & uninspiring as usual.

Toodles.

4th February 2008

Ahh! Lost last night = ZOMG!

I love that show purely for the fun of talking about it later on XD

Thoughts:
-Still can't believe poor Charlie's dead.
-Oceanic 6? So only 6 people survived/got off the island?!
-"I shouldn't have gone with Locke"-Hurley. WHAT!?
-Charlie is an undead!?
-Just WHO are the supposed 'rescuers'?!

Must. Know. Answers.

P.S. I started writing a story about Smarman yesterday! It's basically about his origins. There's not much more to write, so I'll probably put it up on here/link to it when I'm done.

Adios.

31st January 2008

We got our Tetanus needle today in school. I tell you, it did not hurt AT ALL when I actually got the shot but afterwards and now, crap it aches. It feels like my whole arms bruised or something. The needle was only tiny!! Where's the logic?! Haha, everyone was moaning all day, "God, my arms killing, is yours?" XD The people who were giving us the needle had to ask us all these questions before they gave us it and one of them was, "Is there any chance you could be pregnant?" I was like, "What? No!"

I finally sat and watched Princess Mononoke the other day when I was off sick. It was on C4 at Christmas and it had 5 stars so I got mum to record it. Weird, but cool, especially those little white tree spirit people things - they were boss but pretty creepy actually XD Oh, and don't get me started on that forest spirit! He was flippin' terrifying in his whole daytime form!! That face will be in my nightmares for weeks to come!

23rd January 2008

Whoa, I couldn't believe it when I heard about Heath Ledger's death this morning. Both me & my brother literally went, "...what?!" when we heard it on the news. Not that he was my favourite actor or anything (I don't actually have one) but I was really shocked about it. It'll be proper weird if they still go ahead with the new Batman film, what with him playing the Joker and everything.

Jeez, I hate it when something unexpected like this happened, like just the other week my sister's boyfriend's mate was hit by a car on the motorway (I think he'd had a little bump or something so pulled onto the hard shoulder. He was getting out to see if the other people were okay and...well, yeah), he was only about 20...

It's so sad. Just the way you can be here one day and gone the next. Especially when it's people who were so young and had a whole life ahead of them.
Rest in peace James' friend and Heath.

14th January 2008

AieeCarrumba! I FINALLY AFTER LIKE A YEAR OR SOMETHING EQUALLY AS RIDICULOUS BEAT FINAL FLIPPIN FANTASY III!!!!

How stupid is that last dungeon/boss(or should I say bossES)?! They could have at least had a half way point where you could save or something! Never mind going through some big huge castle before fighting a (literally) impossible boss that pretends to kill you then go through more dungeon while fighting another 4 bosses and THEN going the last little stretch to where the last boss is and then you will most definately be killed by it! AND YOU HAVE TO START ALL THAT AGAIN! Idiotic, it really is (still not as idiotic as FFX-2 however, which isn't hard idiotic - just plain idiotic. Example: "I don't like your plan. It sucks!" *Lydia buries head in hands*)

But anyway, now I don't have to bother with III anymore. Thank goodness. By the way, my end levels/jobs where, incase anyone cares whatsoever,
Luneth - Lv 62 - Warrior lv 99 - got deaded
Arc - Lv 62 - Summoner lv somethingsomething - lived!
Refia - Lv 63 - Devout lv somethingsomething -lived!
Ingus - Lv 63 - Ninja lv something something - lived!
So yeah. "LUNETH!" was the only one who died. Lawl.
I was thoroughly disappointed with the ending scene, it was pretty crap. The only good thing that came out of it was that I got a laugh from Arc being gay with that prince dude again XD

So yeah. I think I might play Pheonix Wright next on my DS, heard some good things about it.

Au revoir.
Becky- "Sometimes I just sit there staring at the pictures in the manual."

12th January 2008

I know it's a bit late but - happy new year!!

I can't stop humming a Metallica song Craig was listening to before, I think it's called 'The Unforgiven' or something :/ At least it's a pretty good tune to hum, hehe.

We went to the Capital of Culture opening concert/whatever-it-was last night. It was actually pretty cool, what with the whole rocking out on electric guitars on various buildings and what-not XD (including the radio city tower! I was like "Whoaza!") I also got to see one of the Beatles - Ringo Starr! Haha! Even if I only saw him on the big screens and him really really tiny because he was on top of St Georges hall...but still. I reckon they could have had some huge fireworks at the end or something though, it all ended pretty suddenly. Not that I didn't enjoy it though!

G'bye!
